Diploma Requirements at OSL

To meet the requirements for a diploma from Our Saviour Lutheran School, students must complete all required coursework in accordance with our Academic Policies, with a minimum overall GPA of 70%, and complete all community service hours.

As a reminder, HS preparation (8th Grade) students are required to perform 5 hours of community service; High School students are required to perform 32 hours (a minimum 8 hours per academic year) of community service before graduating from Our Saviour Lutheran School.

Regents Information

The State of New York requires academic standards to be met for all students that attend school in New York State. At OSL, we seek to exceed these academic standards, having our students fully prepared for excellence in all academic areas. Students are required to take all regents in accordance with state requirements for Common Core subjects.

“The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education.”

Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
